About Dubai Health City

Dubai Healthcare City Free Zone was created in 2002 as a global hub for healthcare, wellness, research, and education in the field of medicine and patient care. The authority governing the zone is called Dubai Healthcare City Authority and divides the zone into four divisions: Healthcare, Education and Research, Investment and Regulatory.
Dubai Healthcare City Free Zone is divided into two phases with phase one comprising an area of 4.1 million square feet and focusing on healthcare and medical education. Phase two, parts of which are still under construction and span an area of around 19 million square feet is focused on well-being, healthy living, sustainable design, and finding new and innovative ways to improve healthcare.
Overall, there are 160 different healthcare facilities, 130+ medical centers and clinics, and 4000 plus professionals working in the zone. DHCC is also partnered with 400 clinical and non-clinical operations and has a medical university, a Dental college, a nursing institute, a research center, and 10 hospitals.
