Established in 2007 by the TECOM Group Dubai International Academic City FZ is a large university town that spans an area of around 12 square kilometers. It is run by the Dubai Development Authority and is home to over 28000 students in 500-plus diverse programs in various academic fields.
As the city houses so many educational institutions it is titled MENA’s largest educational hub and currently, it is home to schools, colleges, and university campuses. The students currently enrolled in these institutions represent 150 different nationalities and for their academic and residential needs, the zone also has 3 state of the art innovation centers as well as two housing projects.
Dubai International Academic City FZ works in liaison with the Dubai Knowledge Park and collectively they are home to campuses of institutions like American University, Murdoch University, Curtin University, United Arab Emirates University, German School Dubai, De Montfort University, Strathclyde Business School and International Center for Biosaline Agriculture to name a few.
