Established in 1987 and run by the Fujairah Free Zone Authority (FFZA) it is a special economic zone located next to the Port of Fujairah on the Easter Coast of UAE. It is a major import-export and logistics hub for international companies particularly from India, Pakistan, and other surrounding countries.
It is one of the world’s major oil bunkering hubs for vessels operating in the region and as a result, the zone experiences large amounts of trade flow from South Asia, Europe, the Far East, and even as far as North America with mainline services arriving on a weekly basis.
